The Federal Transit Administration and the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) published the Environmental Assessment/Section 4(f) Evaluation/Environmental Impact Evaluation (EA/EIE) on September 6, 2016. The EA/EIE presents alternatives for replacing the Walk Bridge and an evaluation of the environmental impacts of the alternatives, in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Connecticut Environmental Policy Act (CEPA).

The EA/EIE is available for review below and at the Norwalk City Hall Town Clerk’s Office, Norwalk Public Library, East Norwalk Association Library, South Norwalk Branch Library, Connecticut Department of Transportation, and Western Connecticut Council of Governments.
