Traffic Impacts
East Avenue: Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Drainage work on Gregory Boulevard and Cemetery Street. Drivers: Traffic on East Avenue is shifted to the west side of the roadway. Pedestrians: Follow the posted detour north along Gregory Boulevard and Cemetery Street to the west-side sidewalk on East Avenue.
East Avenue Railroad Bridge: Monday - Friday, from 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM. East Avenue closed to traffic underneath the railroad bridge. Detour as posted.
North Water Street: Friday - Sunday, from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Alternating one-way traffic on North Water Street between Marshall Street and Washington Street.
South Main Street/Washington Street: Sunday, August 30 - Monday August 31, from 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Overnight lane closure between South Main Street and Washington Street.
Marine Activity
Norwalk River: Partial river closures east and west of the channel.
Rail Activity
East Norwalk Train Station: East Norwalk Train Station will be closed to commuters August 22 - 23. More information is available here.
Special Weekend Train Schedules for WALK High Tower Cable Removal: Major Reductions to Train Service Between Stamford and New Haven Planned for Select Weekends Beginning September 12.
