Washington Street: Tuesday - Wednesday, from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Lane closure on Washington Street. One lane of traffic will remain open on Washington Street, with alternating traffic directed by Norwalk Police. Temporary sidewalk closures on Washington Street and South Main Street.
East Avenue: Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Roadway and sidewalk work between Winfield Street, Cemetery Street and Gregory Boulevard. During this work, intermittent, short-term pedestrian holds will be required to maintain public safety.
East Avenue Railroad Bridge: Monday - Thursday, from 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM. East Avenue closed to traffic underneath the railroad bridge. Detour as posted.
Osborne Avenue: Monday from 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Osborne Avenue closed to traffic underneath the railroad bridge. Detour as posted.
Strawberry Hill Avenue: Monday - Friday, from 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Strawberry Hill Avenue closed to traffic underneath the railroad bridge. Detour as posted.
South Smith Street: Monday - Friday, from 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Alternating one-way traffic on South Smith Street.
Marine Activity
Norwalk River: Partial river closures east and west of the channel.
Rail Activity
East Norwalk Train Station: East Norwalk Train Station will be closed to commuters the weekends of July 18 – 19, July 25 – 26 and August 1 – 2. More information is available here.
